Our staff members are here to make your stay the best it can be. You'll see them out and about helping guests throughout the day to feel free to stop them with questions, compliments or concerns.
- Josh Daiss has been the General Manager for Palmer Gulch since 2000. With a degree in Engineering, Josh is well-equipped to oversee the entire operation of this large resort. Good thing he's talented at multi-tasking as Josh has growing responsibilities with the RAC organization and with a young growing family. As a die-hard Broncos fan, his favorite colors during football season are blue and orange. But right now you'll see him wearing a bright yellow shirt and driving a bright yellow pick-up.
- Ryan Flick started working at Palmer Gulch at the age of 13 and is now the Operations Manager of the Mt. Rushmore KOA. With over 600 sites and 50 kamping kabins, Ryan has quite a job to keep things running smoothly, but he does it with the help of his great staff. On his days off, you are likely to see Ryan and his family camping at Palmer Gulch. His three daughters are already avid campers! Ryan is an "ideas" guy and if you have good one for the campground, he would love to hear it.
- Gwyn Wathen is in his fifth year as Operations Manager of the Lodge at Palmer Gulch. He is responsible for all the Palmer Gulch cabins, Executive Cabins and the Lodge with its 62 rooms and suites. While Gwyn's office is in the Lodge, you are just as likely to see him out in his yellow shirt overseeing the cleaning and maintenance personnel. Gwyn is also the resort's group coordinator so if you would like to book a family reunion, corporate retreat, motor coach rally or wedding, Gwyn can make all the arrangements. As the father of three girls Gwyn is used to meeting demands and is great at all the details that go into a successful event.
- Edith Sudyatmiko is the talented person who makes the stores look great with imaginative displays and unique merchandise. You'll most often find Edith stocking shelves, moving displays and running between all the stores of the resort. You'll recognize her by her curly hair and infectious laugh. Ask her about her daughter to see her really light up!
- Jon Anderson is Palmer Gulch's skilled Maintenance Manager. Jon has worked at the resort since high school so he knows this facility inside and out. That knowledge comes in handy when something somewhere springs a leak! It also helps that he and his family, including two kids, live nearby. While Jon tries to stay invisible to guests, he is the one with the grin and the tools.
