Our staff members are here to make your stay the best it can be. You'll see them out and about helping guests throughout the day to feel free to stop them with questions, compliments or concerns.
- Ryan Flick Ryan Flick started working at Palmer Gulch at the age of 13. He continued working at several of our other KOA locations - Pine Island, FL, Rapid City and Seattle, WA and seven years ago returned to Palmer Gulch as the Director of Camping and Human Resources. With over 500 sites, 55 camping cabins and 100+ employees, Ryan has quite a job to keep things running smoothly. On his days off, you are likely to see Ryan and his family camping at Palmer Gulch. His three young daughters are already avid campers. Ryan is our "ideas" guy so if you have a good one for the campground, he would love to hear it.
- Gwyn Wathen Gwyn Wathen is in his sixth year at Palmer Gulch but has worked at some of our other KOA locations too - Front Royal, VA, Harpers Ferry, WV, Branson, MO and Astoria, OR. Gwyn currently serves as the Director of Lodging, Group Sales & Special Events for Palmer Gulch. Always on the go, Gwyn can be found on the campground or in the Lodge overseeing the staff, coordinating family reunions, wedding and corporate retreats and organizing the special events held throughout the season on the resort. As the father of three young daughters, Gwyn is used to meeting demands and is great at all the details that go into a successful event.
- Jon Anderson Jon Anderson is our skilled Director of Facilities. It takes more than a hammer and a drill to keep this large infrastructure operating. It takes the skill of someone who knows this facility inside and out and that's Jon! He has worked at Palmer Gulch since high school and all his knowledge comes in handy when something somewhere springs a leak! It also helps that he and his family, including two kids, live nearby. While Jon tries to stay behind the scenes, he is the one with the grin, the tools and the get-it-done-right attitude.
