The resort is nestled at the foot of Harney Peak in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Our family resort features a 62 bedroom lodge, 6 resort cabins with first-class amenities, 30 mountain cabins ranging from rustic to deluxe, and a Mt. Rushmore KOA campground with hundreds of sites from shaded tent sites and kamping kabins to delux RV sites.
Palmer Gulch is conveniently located near many famous Black Hills attractions - we are the closest resort to Mount Rushmore National Memorial on the Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway, and a short distance from Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Wind Cave National Park, and the lakes and trails of the Black Hills National Forest.
