Ten Things to Pack in Your Hiking Pack: Part 1

April 23, 2015

You’ve finally made it to the Black Hills. You’re campsite is all set up. You’re ready to go exploring and immerse yourself in everything the area has to offer. Taking the right hiking equipment will vary on where you’re hiking, what your skill level is, what time of year you’re hiking, and even who’s hiking with you. Will you need extensive hiking equipment like a water filtration kit with you while you hike Harney Peak? No. There are certain, basic things you’ll need in your hiking pack for every trail around the Black Hills though. Make sure you and you’re family are prepared by having these items on your list.
