Palmer Gulch Resort to Host First Annual FAITH WeekendAugust 17, 2012
Palmer Gulch Resort, a family vacation destination in Hill City, SD, will be hosting the first annual FAITH weekend August 24-26, 2012.
Go Fish, a national acclaimed children’s Christian music trio, will be featured during the family weekend.
Bringing with them a track filled with trademark harmonies and inspiration, Go Fish will be performing at Palmer Gulch Resort on Sat. August 25 at 4:00p.m., and children are encouraged to attend the Go Fish dance class at 1:00 p.m. to learn how to dance along with Go Fish during the show. Go Fish singers, Jamie Statema, Jason Folkmann and Andy Selness, will also be available for a meet-and-greet session with fans after the show.
“We take pride in our work and art, but our priority is sharing the Gospel and teaching the Bible to kids,” says one of the bands founding members, Jamie Statema. “Our success doesn’t depend on the next radio single. The only people that matter to us are parents, kids and children’s pastors.”
The weekend also includes a performance by the Hill City Slickers, along with other family friendly activities such as an outdoor movie, fishing derby, arts and crafts, and a faith-based scavenger hunt, led by Young Life, a Hill City-based Christian youth group. A Sunday morning worship service be held to bring the weekend to an end. To see a complete list of event times and places, visit http://www.palmergulch.com/faith.php .

A number of FAITH event packages, including concert tickets, activities, lodging and campsites are also available.
