This Black Hills KOA Campground situated in close proximity to both Hill City and Mount Rushmore is nestled along Palmer Creek at the base of Harney Peak. We're located only five miles west of Mt. Rushmore National Memorial and provide easy access to Custer State Park and other Black Hills attractions.
The Black Hills KOA Campground at Palmer Gulch offers a variety of accommodations, from simple tent camping and RV sites with full hookup, to water-electric sites, deluxe sites, and some of the best and most economical camping cabins in SD. With nearly 500 camping and RV sites, this Black Hills KOA campground is the complete outdoor experience with picturesque granite mountain views and Ponderosa pine panoramas.
Each site has a picnic table and a campfire ring. Check-in begins at 3 PM; check-out is no later than 11 AM. All of our sites offer free WiFi.
